Aremo Adeniyi Ogunsanya, the Aremo of Ikorodu

The traditional head of all royal Princes in Ikorodu Kingdom, Prince Adeniyi Kamorudeen Ogunsanya, the Aremo of Ikorodu, has passed on to the great beyond.

‎Aremo Ogunsanya died early morning on Thursday, August the 13th, 2026, at the age of 86 years.

‎The insurance guru was until his death the Patriarch and Olori- Ebi (Head) of  Suberu Ogunsanya Family of Ikorodu; and the Asiwaju of Ogijo Kingdom

‎His demise was announced by the families of Ogunsanya of lkorodu Kingdom and Jinadu Family of Isale Eko, Lagos Island.

‎He will be buried tomorrow Friday, August 14th, 2026 at 2.30pm at his residence, 7, FRCN Road, Ebute, Ikorodu in accordance with Islamic rites.

A former Chairman, Ikorodu- Oga Development Association (IKODASS) who had also served in many capacities at state and national levels.

‎Late Aremo Ogunsanya also held traditional titles across many communities.
